We have been on our mission for 6 months already! On August 20, we hit our "bump" day, as opposed to our "hump" day which is at the halfway point of the mission, I guess. Monday we went to one of our JAS, Josy's house for noche de hogar--family home evening--with her, her darling 10 year old nephew, Iker, and one of her best friends, Mariluz. Iker gave an excellent lesson on taking care of our bodies/our temples and then we had some great food. To finish it off, Josy presented us with a cake with a number 6 candle--it's so incredible how these "kids" take care of us and lift our spirits in such wonderful ways! They teach inspiring lessons and help us focus on what's important.
Only 2 more 6 months to go...I hope you are doing great with your Español.
